Here are some frequently asked questions that I get. I thought it would be helpful to list these here!
Q: How long does it take to finish custom orders?
A: I take 1-2 weeks to finish custom orders. However, there are times I can finish custom orders in just one night, so it doesn't hurt to reach out and ask if you need special accommodations!
Q: How fast do in-stock products ship?
A: I ship in-stock products the next day. I send everything via USPS Flat Rate Priority unless you contact me and we make arrangements for faster shipping.
Q: Can you ship overnight?
A: I can. However, in order to ship something overnight I would need you to contact me so that we can arrange for this.
Q: Can you do free shipping?
A: I offer free shipping sales from time to time! Stay tuned to my website and Instagram!
Q: Can you monogram my ____?
A: I can and will monogram any of the products that I sell free of charge. If you want more than just your initials there will be a $5 charge for full names, or a $10 charge for anything longer.
Q: Do you do any leather tooling?
A: I do not do any leather tooling.
Q: Do you offer repairs on your products or provide a lifetime guarantee?
A: I offer free repairs to products purchased from K&H Leatherworks for life - provided that the damage was not caused as a result of neglect or abuse.
Q: Do you repair leather goods from other makers?
A: I am willing to discuss repairing leather goods from other makers - however - I do not offer any warranty or any guarantee on these repairs. I can't guarantee another companys product, but I can do my best to restore it to a functional condition.
Q: Do you hand dye your leather?
A: The majority of the leather that I use has been dyed by the tannery that it came from. I do offer natural undyed veg tan on a lot of my products and I am willing to hand dye them the following colors: Black, Chestnut, Chocolate, Saddle Tan, Green, and Blue.
Q: Where do you source your leather from?
A: I buy leather from a number of different providers. I purchase leather from District Leather Supply, Rocky Mountain Leather, Acadia Leather, Maverick Leather, and Wickett & Craig. The Horween, Badalassi Carlo, Conceria Walpier, and other high end leathers I provide come from District Leather Supply or Rocky Mountain Leather.
Q: Do you have a storefront or shop that I can visit?
A: Unfortunately right now K&H Leatherworks is run out of my residence and so I am not offering any visits to the shop at the moment. I hope to someday be able to open up a shop though! The best way to see and handle my products in person is to check my events page and pay attention to what markets I am attending in the near future! I am doing my best to do at least one market each month but may not always have one scheduled.
